You'd think I was shopping in Russia.) and, while you can find most things in Delhi, they are in shorter supply up here in Punjab.  Regardless, my first homemade meal in my apartment was delicious.

Since I arrived, I've received at least a half dozen requests to be in photos with strangers.  Other Americans who've been to India are probably familiar with this phenomenon. I was in about four different pictures with these fellows.
