corn, sweet, corn

About a ten minute walk from campus is Kipps Mart, where one can find everything from a nice Chinese meal at Hong Kong, to a Subway sandwich to the best ice cream I've had so far in India (cardamom and pistachio!).  And you can find corn.  Seems that Indians love their corn.  One can have the popped variety, or you can order a little cup from this vendor.  He'll sprinkle the steaming sweet corn (Rs 30) with some spices and salt and drop a dollop of butter on there, mellowing the spices a bit and giving you something to slurp up when you reach the bottom. 




My camera was all steamed up because I was in the a/c all day and then stepped out into the swamp-like conditions of early September
